TV "Ident"
“IDENT”…
It is characterized as the "means" which helps the viewers to identify the television channel they are watching at the given moment. Without them, channel logos have limited screen time, apart from viewing them at a very small size in the corners of the TV frame.
The need for constant-continuous communication of the channel with the viewer became imperative, and the result of this effort is the animated television graphics.
It is the advertising-communication-updating of the television content of the channel with its viewers. This update comes with a series of messages studied in terms of their communication environment.
There are idents that promote weekly shows, daily serials, first-run movies that are usually also characterized as "Box office", sports shows, etc.
Before as “intro”, and after as “outro” the completion of each communication ident that is displayed, the logo of the channel follows to imprint in our memory the channel we are watching and in which we will see the previous Indent.
The objective of the second exercise is to create a 12-second "Ident" with the theme of the "Box office" movie that will be shown on Saturday night at 21:00.
You can use a different TV channel than those you will find in the e-class "Multimedia" folder.
