Business Administration Introduction Theory course for Aisthetics and Cosmitology at the University of Western Attica.  Through the concept of the Business Plan for an Aesthetics business, we examine all aspects of the functioning of a company, it's structure (org-chart) and departments functions.

We cover the Laudoun Pyramid and Porter's 5 Forces.  We learn SWOT analysis and concepts of the break Even Point (where the company income sources balance with the expenses and the business).  

We will also view a DVD "The Corporation" documentary with discussions as to the evolution and missions of modern businesses.

The exams will comprise 80% Multiple choice questions on the materials of the class and 20% development questons around challenges to companies at the times of the economics crisis.

Some students (from 1 to 4 per team) may decide to create a business plan for an Aethetics business.  They will be coached on all aspects of the plan as in Marketing, Sales, competition, technology, Suppliers and Procurement, Human Resources processes, Advertizing,  Business processes etc.  Those completing the plan will have passed the 20% development questions.
