Sustainable Transportation
(MSCES111) - Dr Georgios Spyropoulos
Περιγραφή Μαθήματος
This course provides an understanding of fundamental concepts and definitions of sustainable transportation. There is a significant link between the sustainable transportation and climate change. The transitioning to a sustainable transportation can arguably mitigate greenhouse gasses and carbon dioxide emissions that emerge from all sectors such as extractive industries, manufacturing, construction and transportation. In the context of cities, urban planning, electromobility, circular waste management, trees and green areas, reducing emissions of gaseous pollutants, etc, offer great opportunities for both circularity and adaptation
