Data volume as well as data dimensionality having dramatically increased in the era of Bid Data, the role of visualization methods and tools has emerged as critical to the researcher. This Unit presents the current trend that shifts from the more traditional, descriptive data visualization methods and tools to the more dynamic paradigm of visual analytics.
